Project Outline

In the initial phase of our project, titled "Empowering Peacebuilders: Bridging Policy and Practice," we have meticulously outlined a series of activities to lay a solid foundation for our objectives. This includes updating our project proposal to incorporate new insights and feedback, delegating tasks within the team to ensure equitable resource allocation, and designing a survey questionnaire to gather input from stakeholders. We will also function as co-editors to oversee the selection, review, and finalization of articles for publication, and develop a dissemination strategy to maximize the reach and impact of our project. Additionally, continuous engagement between facilitators and team members will be facilitated to provide guidance and support throughout the project journey. Furthermore, we will create a blog to document and share updates, insights, and reflections.

In the second phase of our project, we will focus on refining and finalizing our repository while ensuring its sustainability and scalability. This will involve conducting validation workshops and mentorship sessions to validate the content and synthesis of our repository, as well as soliciting feedback from experts in the gender and peace space. The feedback gathered will inform the development of a toolkit, serving as a practical resource for peacebuilders and practitioners. Additionally, we will develop an exit and sustainability strategy to ensure the long-term impact of our initiative, including exploring opportunities for ownership transfer to Salzburg Global Seminar (SGS) and wider networks. Through these activities, we aim to strengthen the effectiveness and sustainability of our project, ultimately contributing to positive change in the field of gender and peacebuilding.
